Aston Martin are releasing their first ever luxury SUV, officially confirming it as the DBX.
There is already a lot of excitement around this SUV which isn’t going to be available until 2020, this is a bold move for Aston Martin who have previously prided themselves on luxury sports cars. This is an SUV guaranteed to turn heads.
The DBX is currently undergoing a testing programme on a challenging Welsh Rally stage, guaranteed to put it through its paces. This location has been chosen in support of the new Aston Martin St Athan production facility in the Vale of Glamorgan.
The nature of this exclusive DBX from the Aston Martin range has created the need for a specific tailored testing programme to ensure its processes, procedures and standards all thrive and uphold its marque name. The DBX is set to reach new heights and excel in areas in which the luxury sports cars cannot compete, whilst including features of an advanced SUV.
The testing programme is set to continue with the DBX due to face the world’s toughest terrains in a diverse range of environments. The DBX will be built at the St Athan Lagonda’s top of the range facility, with fully-electric models also set to enter production here.
The DBX is set to be presented towards the end of 2019, with pricing yet to be confirmed.
