With powerful electric performance and a flowing silhouette, the all-new ID.5 is the first electric SUV coupé from Volkswagen. The ID.5 and the sporty ID.5 GTX with dual-motor all-wheel drive are the new, long-range top models in the ID family.

The heads-up display projects important information directly into the driver’s field of vision, and the atmospheric interior lighting offers a rainbow of up to 30 colours. The data-connected services provide the driver with real-time traffic information, map updates, and even information on charging stations, making every journey a breeze.
The new ID.5 impresses with a futuristic form that combines the strengths of an SUV with the aerodynamic silhouette of a coupé. An elegant light strip extends between the LED matrix headlights, and the sloping rear end sports a modest spoiler, and the intricate rear LED light clusters have a 3D effect including animated brake lights and integrated dynamic turn signal. The GTX gets a model-specific body kit with a more aggressive front bumper, painted side skirts, and a larger spoiler.
All three ID.5 models are powered by a large 77kWh, long-range battery, and its low drag coefficient of 0.26 translates to high efficiency, boosting the vehicle’s maximum range to 323 miles. On top of that, the ID.5 can charge up back up to 62 miles in just seven minutes.
The entry-level ID.5 Pro features a 172bhp electric motor mounted on the rear axle, which offers a 0-62mph time of 10.4 seconds and a top speed of 99mph. The mid-range Pro Performance variant has a more powerful 201bhp electric motor, which reduces the ID.5’s 0-62mph time to 8.4 seconds. The GTX model gains an extra motor on the front axle, offering a combined output of 295bhp and four-wheel drive which is capable of 0-62mph in 6.3 seconds while increasing its top speed to 112mph.
