This confident, capable, and versatile van brings plug-in hybrid power to Volkswagen's popular medium van range, with all the practicality you'd expect and running costs to match. This combination outputs 228 horsepower through CVT transmission and provides a pure electric range of up to 35 miles, depending on which bodystyle you choose. The battery can be recharged from empty to full on a 3.7 kW AC charger in around 4.5 hours.

Despite its hybrid powertrain, it doesn't compromise on capability, with the ability to carry a 1,132 kg payload and tow up to 2,300kg if you opt for the Panel Van model. The Volkswagen Transporter eHybrid will be available in Panel Van, Kombi and Shuttle body types, so there's a version to suit however you use your van. The entire Volkswagen Transporter line-up, including the new eHybrid version, is covered by the excellent 5+ Promise warranty.
