As well as its new, sleek design, the new Caddy features a wealth of new features, smart Driver Assist systems, a fully digital cockpit, and a ground-breaking infotainment system. Better still? It’s as reliable, comfortable, and practical as ever.
Intelligently designed, the new Caddy's exterior design gives it presence on the road while its new interior is packed with innovation features which makes it a genuine pleasure to drive. Outside a stylish honeycomb grille sits below the new twin halogen, or optional LED headlights. Inside you'll find a variety of smart infotainment options and easy connectivity thanks to WeConnect.
The interior is practical, versatile, and comfy, and the optional, fully adjustable ergoComfort front seat with 4-way lumbar support makes for more comfortable journeys. The cabin has been substantially upgraded, with a new 12.9-inch infotainment display as its focal point, providing a larger and more user-friendly interface, alongside the Digital Cockpit Pro, both included as standard.
Smartphone charging has been enhanced too, with 25W wireless charging as standard, increased USB-C output in the front and an additional USB-C point in the dashboard. The cabin refresh also brings an illuminated touch slider for temperature control, revised trim finishes and new seat upholstery designs.
The new Caddy showcases some of Volkswagen’s most advanced Driver Assist systems. With Front Assist, Active Lane Assist, and Cruise Control, the Caddy is a relaxing drive for longer journeys. Enhanced Travel Assist now adds assisted lane-change capability, and Emergency Assist has also been updated.
On the outside, the Caddy retains its instantly recognisable design with an updated front bumper, and four new colour options – Reed Green Metallic, Grenadilla Black Metallic, Sunset Red Metallic and Grey Brown Metallic – bring the total to 11 different paint choices across solid and metallic finishes.
The new Caddy is available in Life trim, in short wheelbase or Maxi form, with a choice of 2.0 TDI 122PS diesel or 1.5 TSI 116PS petrol engines, both paired with a 7-speed DSG gearbox.
If you need more space, the Caddy Maxi’s long wheelbase gives you an extra 353mm of length with a larger luggage area, so there’s plenty of space for you, your passengers, and luggage on long journeys. When getting in and out, the new 844mm sliding doors on the new Maxi are 143mm wider than on the short wheelbase version.
