Say hello to the new Caddy Cargo. This confident, capable, and versatile van is the perfect choice for your business, with its innovative Driver Assist features, hi-tec infotainment systems, and an ergonomic driver’s workstation.
Despite its compact design, it’s capable of transporting up to 700 kg with ease, including up to 100 kg on the roof. Step inside and you’ll find a range of intelligent tech features, including a new 12.9-inch infotainment display and the Digital Cockpit Pro, both now included as standard across the range.
Smartphone charging has been enhanced too, with 25W wireless charging as standard across the range, increased USB-C output in the front and an additional USB-C point in the dashboard. The cabin refresh also brings an illuminated touch slider for temperature control, revised trim finishes and new seat upholstery designs.
The Caddy Cargo’s interior storage space has been designed to give you easy access to everything you need to get the job done. Optional LED-headlights give extra visibility in bad weather, while the optional 230V socket allows you to plug in appliances.
The Caddy Cargo comes with a range of Driver Assist systems too, including Front Assist which incorporates Emergency Braking. The Driver Alert system warns you when you need to take a break from driving, and the optional Trailer Assist makes reversing into a space with a trailer in tow much easier. Enhanced Travel Assist now adds assisted lane-change capability, and Emergency Assist has also been updated.
On the outside, the Caddy Cargo retains its instantly recognisable design with an updated front bumper, and four new colour options – Reed Green Metallic, Grenadilla Black Metallic, Sunset Red Metallic and Grey Brown Metallic – bring the total to 11 different paint choices across solid and metallic finishes. Commerce and Commerce Plus models come with 16-inch steel wheels as standard, with 16-inch “Lisboa” Silver alloy wheels available as an option, while Commerce Pro models get 17-inch “Amsterdam” Silver alloy wheels as standard.
The new Caddy Cargo is available in Commerce, Commerce Plus and Commerce Pro trims, in short wheelbase or Maxi form, with a choice of a 2.0 TDI 102PS diesel engine with a 6-speed manual gearbox, or a 1.5 eHybrid 150PS with a 6-speed DSG.
The Caddy Cargo also benefits from Volkswagen’s 5+ Promise at no extra cost, which comprises five services, three MOTs, a five-year warranty and five years’ Roadside Assistance. Terms and exclusions apply.
