A brand new variant of the elegant Arteon four-door coupe has been revealed, called the Arteon Shooting Brake, giving the sleek saloon car some extra practicality and versatility.
The Arteon Shooting Brake – essentially an estate version of the Arteon coupe – joins the line-up at the same time that Volkswagen has given the Arteon model a mid-life refresh.
The athletic, dynamic lines remain, and the Arteon continues to be characterised by its expressive, flowing design.
A new continuous LED light strip and lower air intakes give the Arteon an updated front-end design, while there’s also new technology on the inside that make this particular vehicle a leader in its class.
Travel Assist enables part-automated driving at speeds up to 210km/h [130mph] in all driving situations, including stop-and-go traffic and through roadworks, and the system is even capable of reacting to changing speed limits and road features like bends and roundabouts.
Passenger space in both the Arteon and Arteon Shooting Brake is seriously impressive, with rear legroom coming in more than 1 metre, and it can also swallow up to 565 litres of luggage.
