BMW is world-renowned for its executive saloon selection, and the 7-series
has been a world-leading vehicle within this sector for some time now.
With many owners opting to be driven around in their 7-series cars, you would expect they would want something quiet, comfortable and efficient to go the distance. But what happens when you put an M division V12 into it and let it off the leash a little?
Revealed at the Geneva Motor Show in March, the M760Li XDrive is a souped-up executive cruiser capable of some superb performance, making it a treat for both driver and passenger.
With 600hp produced from the 6.6-litre twin-turbo ‘TwinPower’ V12 engine, this model goes from 0-60 in a staggering 3.9 seconds - incredibly impressive for such a big saloon - with a limited top speed of 155mph.
To get this power on the road, BMW has fitted the all-wheel xDrive system, which is slightly biased to the rear for better handling, which helps to give the M760Li a sportier feel. Paired with the 8-speed automatic gearbox, the ability to put the power down is undoubtedly excellent.
Inside, the BMW is kitted out with everything you’d expect from a high-end product; satellite navigation and iDrive system with touch controller, both displayed on a 10.25-inch colour display, electric glass sunroof, WiFi hotspot preparation and USB connectivity.
And with M division design features throughout, you get the sense you are in a high-end sport-orientated vehicle, but that doesn’t mean you lose the luxury feel from the rest of the series.
This special BMW model will be available to purchase later this year at JCT600 BMW Bradford. To stay up to date with the latest developments please contact us today.
