On Saturday 3rd September, JCT600 showcased some of the UK’s most expensive luxury cars for the ‘Supercar in the city’ event at Meadowhall to raise money for the Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice
The Charity offers care and support to children with a shortened life expectancy both in comfort of their own homes or at the hospice based in North Anston. There aim is to give families the chance to take a break and have a bit of fun, during a difficult time.
On the day, more than 80 of the most desirable motors descended on the Centre for the charity’s much anticipated “Supercar Experience”, organised by Supercar Driver
JCT600 attended with a mouth-watering range of supercars to get up close and personal with. The cars on show included the Mercedes-Benz
S63 Cabriolet, Porsche
R8 and Ferrari
And, despite the heavy rain that didn't let up all day, the event had a great turnout and managed to raise more than £6,500!
Adam Thorby, director of Supercar Driver, who helped organise the day, added: “We were thrilled with the event on the whole, the reception from everyone who came to see the cars despite the weather, was hugely positive. A special mention to our members gave up their time to display their cars – without them it wouldn’t been possible.”
