Peugeot shares their vision of future electric vehicles, including the e-LEGEND CONCEPT which will be one of the EVs on display at Milan Design Week.
The announcement of the e-LEGEND Concept car and e-208 is a preview of Peugeot’s goal to offer electric versions across the range by 2023, supporting the brand’s #UnBoringTheFuture goal, with a focus on EV: MOTION and e-MOTION.
The Peugeot e-LEGEND Concept was revealed at the 2018 Paris Motor Show and was the first glimpse into Peugeot’s vision for an electric future. Tapping into the brand’s sporting heritage, the design of the e-LEGEND was inspired by the retro Peugeot 504 coupe, whilst presenting an updated vision of the future of electric vehicles.
With an impressive range of up to 372 miles, featuring a 100% electric powertrain, 100kWh batteries providing 800Nm torque and 340 Kw power, the e-LEGEND has a maximum speed of 136mph and can reach 0-62mph in less than 4 seconds.
The all-new e-208 joins the e-LEGEND Concept, the first in Peugeot’s fully electric generation. The e-208 will have a range of up to 211 miles, a 100kW electric motor and 50kWh battery.
The sporty 208 features a body-coloured chequered front grille, angle colour changing emblem, full LED three-claw headlight signature on front and rear (depending on spec) and body coloured chequered front grille.
The top of the range tech offers owners a captivating experience through the PEUGEOT i-Cockpit, premium FOCAL Sound system and SOUNDHOUND Inc which provides AI technology voice activated personal assistant.
Both the 208 and e-208 feature ‘jump in’ technology and the newest intelligent driver aids including a 7 or 10” capacitive colour touchscreen and PEUGEOT 3d i-Cockpit.
