What model variants/trims are there?
The new Transporter range offers a wide choice of configurations to suit every need. The panel van is available in both short and long wheelbase options, with Commerce, Commerce Plus, and Commerce Pro trims offered in either manual or automatic transmissions and a variety of body weights. For those considering electric, Plus and Pro variants are available. Looking ahead, Kombi derivatives will join the lineup, featuring an extra row of seats and additional windows - much like the previous-generation Transporter. The Transporter Shuttle will also be available in both short and long wheelbase formats, offering eight- or nine-seat layouts and a choice of diesel or electric powertrains. A plug-in hybrid (PHEV) version is expected to arrive towards the end of the year, with first deliveries anticipated in 2026.
