Mercedes-Benz’s EQ range of electric vehicles has expanded with the announcement of the EQA, the new EV entry point in Merc’s line-up.
The EQA is clearly derived from the GLA compact SUV, though it takes some design inspiration from the larger EQC SUV.
At launch, just the EQA 250 will be available, but more variants will follow later. The 250 model offers a single-charge range of up to 263 miles [WLTP] from its 66.5kWh battery. It’s also good for 190bhp and a consumption rate of 17.9kWh/100km.
On the outside, Mercedes-Benz is clearly establishing a unique language for its EQ range, with the black panel grille and horizontal rear light-strip appearing here on the EQA, just as they do on the EQC.
UK pricing is yet to be announced, but you can register your interest using the form on this page.
