The XCeed urban crossover is the latest addition to the Kia range of cars, and with a design that’s compact and dynamic, it offers a sporty alternative to some of the more traditional SUVs currently on the market.
Despite its more compact dimensions, the XCeed is still able to offer levels of space for occupants and luggage that is comparable to competitors.
A suite of advanced safety, connectivity, and infotainment features contribute to making the XCeed a class leader in technology, and a range of turbocharged engines, it’s also highly efficient.
Three petrol engines and two diesel engines are available in total, with a plug-in variant of the XCeed due to follow in the near future.
A three-cylinder, 1.0-litre petrol engine produces 120PS and 172Nm, while a four-cylinder 1.4-litre unit generates 140PS and 242Nm. The high-power 1.6-litre that’s found in the Ceed GT and ProCeed GT is also available in the XCeed, with power output of 204PS and torque of 265Nm.
A 1.6-litre diesel unit is available with either 115PS or 136PS, with class-leading fuel efficiency thanks to the brand’s Smartstream technology.
Just like the rest of the Kia range, the XCeed will come with the company’s famous seven-year, 100,000 mile warranty, with production of the new model taking place in Kia’s plant in Slovakia.
