Staycations are a well-loved favourite for families, couples, and friends alike. While it can be tempting to hop on a plane and escape abroad, many people overlook the incredible destinations we have right here in the UK, some of which are just as beautiful, exciting, and relaxing as those abroad.

With no long flights, stunning landscapes, rich history, and plenty of charm, a UK staycation could be the perfect choice for your next break. Whether you're craving a peaceful coastal village, a vibrant city adventure, rolling countryside views, or a beachside escape, there’s something to suit every style of traveller this summer.

Staithes, North Yorkshire

A hidden gem on the North Yorkshire coast, Staithes is a little fishing village just a short drive from Whitby. With its cobbled streets, traditional cottages, and peaceful atmosphere, Staithes offers all the charm of a classic seaside escape without the crowds you’ll often find in more touristy spots.

York, North Yorkshire
