The Black Edition trim line has been a key part of the Audi range for some time, and now this specification is coming to the revised Q3 line-up.
This latest addition alters the structure of the Q3’s specifications which sees the SE, S line Navigation and S line Plus replaced with the Sport, S line Edition and Black Edition trims, providing better equipment from the base level upwards.
The entry level Sport trim adds SD navigation, larger front air vents and a body-coloured front diffuser to the former SE trim accessories, which helps to give you more awareness on the road and also more presence with a more powerful look to the Q3’s bodywork.
As the new mid-range option, the S line Edition trim has more features on top of the old S line Navigation option, such as cruise control and Audi Parking System Plus, while also adding new exterior detailing such as a distinctive horizontal strut across the front end, a more pronounced air inlet surrounds and a revised diamond-pattern mesh design.
The main addition is the Black Edition trim, which replaces the previous S line Plus as the highest specification. This brings a darker element to the Q3, with black gloss paint adorning 19-inch alloys, the wheel arch cappings, single frame surround for the roof rails and rear spoiler and tailpipes. It also adds other great features, such as metallic paint as standard, privacy glass for the rear windows and a Bose sound system upgrade.
Standard features for the interior now include Audi Music and Bluetooth interface, parking sensors, dual-zone climate control and a concert audio system with DAB radio and a 6.5-inch retractable colour monitor. On the exterior, features include Xenon headlamps with LED daytime running lights, and for the S line Edition and Black Edition, scrolling rear indicators.
