Thursday 7th March – Sunday 17th March 2019
The Geneva Motor Show is one of the biggest in the automotive event calendar and is highly anticipated by both industry experts and the general public. Brands not only showcase updates to existing models, but they also unveil new models that are set to hit the UK market.
For the 89th edition, there will be 26 new exhibitors, including the Chinese marque Changan, whilst the Swiss Federal office of Energy will continue its co2auplancher campaign, which recognises vehicles that emit no more than 95 grams of CO2/km. TAG Heuer will also be there with a fascinating special exhibition in homage to the world of motorsports.
Thursday 16th May – Sunday 19th May 2019
Hosted at the ExCeL in London, the London Motor Show is the largest automotive show in the UK and will showcase the latest technologies and innovations from some of the world’s leading brands. Industry experts will also be on-hand to answer questions and demonstrate new tech.
This event is ideal for those considering joining the industry, and can provide a great insight into the technologies, products and people involved.
Saturday 15th – Sunday 16th June 2019
Taking place at the famous Circuit de la Sarthe in France, Le Mans 2019 will be the 87th running of the race which was first held in June 1923.
The event sees more than 260,000 spectators in attendance, so there certainly isn’t a shortage of atmosphere!
Expect to witness skill, endurance, tactics and speed at this fun and exciting event. Be warned: it’s an addictive experience, with many people returning year after year!
Friday 12th – Sunday 14th July 2019
This year the Formula 1 British Grand Prix is returning to Silverstone for what could well be the very last time.
The event is held over a three-day weekend and is a true celebration of the sport. The best drivers, in the most finely-tuned racing machines, will be competing in this incredible motorsport event, making it a truly unforgettable experience.
If you want to get up close and personal, you can book a pit-walk to really explore the cars, or opt for a grandstand view where you can take in more of the track.
Thursday 4th – Sunday 7th July 2019
The Goodwood Festival of Speed – described as “motorsport’s ultimate summer garden party” – takes place in the South of England at the scenic Goodwood Estate in Chichester.
At Goodwood, you can expect to see an array of colour and sounds, with the opportunity to get up close to some of the world’s most incredible cars, and celebrate the history of motorsport with hundreds of fellow enthusiasts.
North: Friday 26th – Sunday 28th July 2019
South: Friday 23th – Sunday 25th August 2019
Carfest takes place on two different dates and locations – the North event will be at the Bolesworth Estate, Cheshire and the South event at Laverstoke Park Farm, Hampshire.
Carfest is perfect for car enthusiasts and is a great family day out offering something for everybody, from car exhibits and races to live music and fairground rides, plus an array of different food and drink stands to choose from. It is certainly not one to be missed, and all proceeds from the event go to carefully-chosen children’s charities.
Thursday 12th – Sunday 22nd September 2019
The 68th International Motor Show Germany – also known as IAA Cars 2019 – is the world’s largest motor show which occurs every two years and alternates with the Paris Motor Show.
Manufacturers attend the event to reveal brand new models, as well as updates to their current range.
Friday 8th – Sunday 10th November 2019
The Classic Motor Show takes place every year at the NEC in Birmingham and is one of the largest classic car shows of the year. There will be over 2,000 classic cars on display, along with hundreds of trade stands to explore.
This event is a great networking opportunity for car lovers and keen motorists, and is attended by some of the UK’s largest car clubs.
