The Volkswagen Grand California Dune Special Edition is now available to order. It builds on the enhanced MY27 Grand California, Volkswagen’s award-winning premium campervan, which offers a comfortable and versatile home away from home.

The Dune comes in a striking Ascot Grey with a contrast black grained bumper, a combination unique to this model. It adds 17-inch Lismore black alloy wheels, black grained bumpers and “Dune” decals on the front and sides of the exterior. 

The Dune also adds more comfort and customisability on top of the standard Grand California features. You get Climatronic air conditioning, ambient lighting, and LED headlights with automatic headlight control, plus separate LED daytime running lights. 

Inside, the MY27 Grand California is finished in Atami Bamboo trim with a matching hard-wearing wood-effect floor, giving the cabin a warm, high-quality feel. There are also extra storage solutions and a flexible foldout table. 

If you want to stay off-grid in comfort for longer, the optional Off-Grid Package adds fitted solar panels and two 40Ah LiFePO₄ batteries, giving 40% more usable battery capacity. 

The Dune Special Edition comes as the Grand California 600 or the larger 680. Both use a 163PS 2.0 TDI engine with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and front-wheel drive. The 680 Dune is also available with 4MOTION all-wheel drive. 

Volkswagen’s 5+ Promise is included at no extra cost. It covers five services, three MOTs, a five-year warranty and five years’ roadside assistance.
