The latest generation of the SEAT Ibiza is getting a mid-life makeover to keep the Spanish-built supermini up to date. Subtle styling changes include LED front and rear lights as standard and a classy two-tone chrome SEAT logo with the Ibiza model name in embossed, 'handwritten' lettering displayed across the tailgate.
As the smaller of the two Seat hatchbacks, it still comes with an impressive amount of interior space, thanks to its new extended base structure, which helps to make it more practical.
The interior has also been updated and is now available with a Beats audio system as an option and the new and advanced 9.2'' floating touchscreen navigation with wireless Full Link, which is made for those who love to keep effortlessly connected.
Higher grade models also have a high-resolution digital cockpit, dual-zone climate control and red interior ambient lighting. DSG equipped models also get paddle shifters on the steering wheel, while a traffic sign recognition system can be specified as an optional extra.
The new Ibiza offers six trim levels – SE, SE Technology, FR, FR Sport, Xcellence and Xcellence Lux. Even on the base spec as standard, the Ibiza is equipped with 15-inch alloy wheels, automatic LED headlights and driver assistance technology such as cruise control, autonomous emergency braking and lane assist.
