First announced to the public in September 2018 the third Aston Martin hypercar has been codenamed ‘003’ following the Valkyrie and Valkyrie AMR Pro, formerly known as ‘002’ and ‘001’.
This next step into the mid-engined hypercar market will see Project ‘003’ hold class leading dynamics both on road and track, as its hypercar precursors did.
Currently undergoing development for those revolutionary road and track-only machines, the ‘003’ has hypercar DNA firmly in the concepts and technology.
Powered by a turbocharged petrol-electric hybrid engine and built around a lightweight structure, brought together with active aerodynamics for impressive levels of downforce in a road-legal car, active suspension systems resulting in next-level control, driver connection and precision.
Without losing focus on performance, Project ‘003’ takes practicality into consideration in the design and engineering, offering space for luggage.
Available in both left and right-hand drive, global production will be limited to 500 coupes.
The ‘003’ Hypercar will be on sale in late 2021.
