Last week, ahead of the Sunday Times ‘Best 100 Companies to Work For 2017’ ranking announcement, the team at Volkswagen Bradford
ran a colleague sweepstake to help raise some money for the Sue Ryder Trust
for the Manorlands Hospice.
Last year proved to be a great success with Glenn Shepherd picking out the winning 84th ticket, and again, the Volkswagen Bradford and Volkswagen Divisional team “dug deep” into their pockets this year to support this great cause, with all 100 tickets purchased for £1 each.
This years’ lucky winner was Corey Greening who, of course, pulled out the 57th winning ticket and received a bottle of bubbly along with a box of choc’s to celebrate!
John Fickling, Head of Business at Volkswagen Bradford, commented:
“It was great to kick of the build-up to the Best Companies Day next Friday 3rd of March, by holding a sweepstake before our ranking was officially announced.
We were able to create a bit of a buzz, have a lot of fun with the team and raise some money for a great local cause; the Sue Ryder Trust for the Manorlands Hospice in Oxenhope, which is very close to our hearts at this moment in time.
A big thank-you to all who took part and helped us raise over £100!"
