Vauxhall have unveiled their brand new compact SUV, with a total design overhaul and zero emission electric power available from day one.
The electric-powered Mokka-e draws power from its on-board 50kWh battery, which develops 136bhp and 260Nm of torque for a drive that promises to be energetic and guilt-free.
Petrol and diesel variants of the new Mokka will also available at launch, all of which will use Vauxhall’s latest generation of supremely efficient powertrains.
Based on Vauxhall’s existing CMP platform – upon which the new Corsa is also based – this new Mokka is actually 12.5cm shorter in length than the previous model of the same name, despite a marginally longer wheelbase.
With a wheel pushed towards each corner, the Mokka will be a breeze to drive in and around town, along with advanced driver support systems such as Adaptive Cruise Control and Stop and Go for making driving in traffic easy.
Order books will open in summer 2020, with deliveries slated for early in 2021.
