The details of the smallest and newest in the Audi SUV range, the Audi Q2, have been fully revealed, with the compact crossover starting from £20,230 OTR.
Available now, the latest Audi model comes in four trim options and has a selection of both petrol and diesel engines, with both types paired with either a manual or automatic gearbox.
The Q2 can be fitted in the SE, Sport, S Line and Edition #1 trims, and all of the models come with progressive steering, pre-sense front emergency braking system with pedestrian recognition and Audi smartphone interface – which is compatible with both Android and Apple phones.
Other available features include the virtual cockpit – an award-winning technological advancement in cockpit design – and Audi phone box, which uses inductive currents to wirelessly charge your phone. Side assist driving aid is also available as a premium safety feature.
The cheapest trim, the SE, comes with 16-inch alloy wheels, and the rims get progressively larger through the trim levels, up to the top level Edition #1 that has 19-inch alloy wheels.
At first, the Q2’s cheapest option of a 1.0-litre petrol unit (£20,230) will not be available, and instead will be fitted with a 1.4-litre TFSI petrol unit, which has 148bhp and in SE trim is priced at £22,380. The diesel options start with a 1.6-litre TDI engine, coming with 114bhp, with the top level 2.0-litre TDI quattro option also available on higher trim levels.
