The stunning Vantage sportscar has been joined by a Roadster version in the Aston Martin line-up, giving customers a fresh option in the luxury convertible market.
Like the coupe model, the Vantage Roadster is powered by a twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 engine, which develops 510PS and 685Nm of torque.
Paired with an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission, Aston’s latest convertible powers to 60mph in 3.7 seconds, and on to a hypothetical 190mph top speed.
The performance of the Z-folding roof is impressive too, lowering in 6.7 seconds or raising in 6.8 seconds, with the function available at speeds of up to 31mph. That means no getting caught out when the rain suddenly hits.
A choice of Sport, Sport+, and Track driving modes provide ample flexibility for drivers, and a boot capacity of 200 litres provides plenty of room for luggage when required.
The Vantage range starts at £114,850, with the Roadster coming in at £126,950. Order books are open now, with deliveries expected in the second quarter of 2020.
