Following the announcement earlier this autumn that Rolls-Royce Motor Cars will have a permanent presence in Leeds, JCT600, which will be representing the brand in the city, has confirmed that its temporary Rolls-Royce marketing suite will soon be open for business.
The Bradford-based family car retailer plans to create a temporary base for Rolls-Royce at its Brooklands site on Leeds Ring Road, and in the interim, JCT600 is already offering product demonstrations and taking enquiries via a concierge service, delivered by a dedicated specialist/luxury client relationship manager.
The first Rolls-Royce vehicle arrived on site in Leeds at the end of October – a brand new Cullinan SUV, one of the first in the country to go on display, having come straight from the home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood, West Sussex. By December, JCT600 will have a further four demonstration vehicles at its Leeds base, comprising the Dawn, the Wraith, the Ghost and the Phantom, enabling the motor retailer to showcase the complete Rolls-Royce product portfolio. In addition, JCT600 is able to offer Rolls-Royce servicing and warranty work with immediate effect.
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Leeds will offer both new and Provenance Pre-Owned Rolls-Royce cars, as well as full aftersales services to customers throughout Yorkshire.
John Tordoff, chief executive of JCT600, says, “Having been in the business for over 70 years, we have a long heritage of working with some of the best-known names in the motor industry and, with their timeless appeal, Rolls-Royce is an obvious partner for us and a great addition to our portfolio.
“We have a reputation for continually investing in our dealerships and our people to ensure that customers enjoy the best possible experience with us. We’ll be working closely with Rolls-Royce to create a bespoke, state-of-the-art facility in Leeds where customers will be able to talk to our experienced team and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere while commissioning their Rolls-Royce motor car as well as having the opportunity to engage with designers and craftspeople at the home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood. It’s great news for the city and for customers throughout Yorkshire and the North that they can now see, touch and test drive these iconic vehicles, right here in Leeds.”
Upon announcing the partnership with JCT600 in September, Julian Jenkins, regional director, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Europe, said, “JCT600 is a greatly respected business in the luxury sector and this partnership will ensure that the extremely high expectations of our existing and prospective customers in the North of England will be met by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Leeds. It also demonstrates the marque’s confidence in its prosperous domestic market as it expands to meet sustained demand from wealth and job creators who choose to reward themselves with a Rolls-Royce motor car.”
The marque’s full portfolio of motor cars will be offered by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Leeds, including Cullinan, Phantom, the Ghost Series II family (Ghost and Ghost Extended Wheelbase), Wraith, Dawn and the brand’s new range of bold Black Badge models.
