Yesterday, at the Geneva International Motor Show, the revised Peugeot 2008 Compact SUV was revealed featuring a new look, a new GT Line trim as well as additional equipment for the car.
The re-styling of the 2008 sees the car look more SUV-like than before, with new wheel arch extensions and scuff plates, a new vertical grille along with ‘lion’s claw’ lights at the rear.
The new GT Line trim gives the car a much sportier exterior look and feel, along with the alloy wheels and new gloss black features.
The engines available include both diesel and petrol options, with outputs of 80 – 130hp, and has from just 96g/km CO2 emissions.
New features for the model include the Active City Brake system for reducing the severity of any car accident or to even avoid them happening; Park Assist which allows the car to park automatically; and MirrorLink or Apple CarPlay allowing you to integrate your smartphones with the car (must be compatible). As previously, the model will also include Grip Control, an advanced traction control system that improves the 2008’s car grip abilities in snow, mud and any low-grip situations.
The car is expected to go on sale in the Summer of 2016, so keep a look out for more updates!
