French manufacturer Peugeot revealed its new 5008 SUV at last year’s Paris Motor Show.
The seven-seat SUV has been remodelled to compete in the ever-growing compact SUV market, and has been built “to offer modularity on par with that of the best people-carriers.”
11cm longer than the last version, more space has been worked into the 5008 and the third row of seats can be completely removed to allow for added storage in the boot, which is one of the largest on the market at 1060 litres.
With a striking, modern design, the 5008 is an imposing vehicle. At 1.96m tall, it allows for excellent cabin space and the flat boot allows for better storage.
The revamped interior offers the new Peugeot i-Cockpit system, which includes a 12.3-inch high-resolution head-up display in the instrument binnacle and an 8-inch touchscreen dashboard so that you are informed clearly and concisely throughout your drive.
Also included are up-to-date assistance systems, such as Hill Assist Decent Control, Distance Alert, Active Lane Keeping Assistance, Active Blind Spot Monitoring and Visio Park, a 360-degree view to work alongside the Park Assist.
Coming with both petrol and diesel engine, combining performance and efficiency, the 5008 will be launched late July 2017.
