The team at Volkswagen Bradford
are delighted to announce the appointment of new Service Manager, James Lowham. James has taken up this exciting role, starting today and in doing so becomes one of the youngest Service Managers within the JCT600 team and within the Volkswagen UK Retailer Network.
John Fickling, Head of Business at Volkswagen Bradford, commented;
“I am delighted to announce that James Lowham will be moving into his new role as Service Manager from the 1st of March 2017 within the Volkswagen Bradford Team.
James is a fantastic role model for anyone considering joining the Motor Industry and JCT600 in terms of what can actually be achieved within a very short period of time.
Initially he joined the team on Sticker Lane, Bradford, as a 'fresh faced' Apprentice Technician in November 2007 and it very soon became evident that he had lots of enthusiasm and ambition to develop his skills during the coming years.
Whilst working his way through his Volkswagen technical apprenticeship during the first few years, he then moved away from repairing the cars and into the role of Workshop Controller by 2013 and more recently our Front of House Manager.
His continued progression and also resulted in him being nominated to become a member of JCT600's WIRED team - a training and development program designed to provide a structured career path plan with the company's support.
During 2016, James also successfully achieved his Volkswagen UK Service Manager assessment and accreditation. His appointment means that he now becomes one of the youngest Service Managers within the VW Retailer Network and in the JCT600 Group at only 26 years of age!
James is a great colleague and fantastic role model; a real life success story in terms of what he has already achieved during his first 10 years within the business and I have no doubt that he will continue to be a massive asset to JCT600 for many years to come. One that he, and JCT600 are very proud of.”
Well done James and good luck in your new role!
