Launched earlier this year, the latest Audi A3 pushes the popular premium hatch into a connected future, along with some sharp new lines and a brand new interior design.
The view from the motoring press is officially out too, with many of the industry’s most respected writers giving the new A3 a glowing report.
For Top Gear Magazine, Tom Harrison praises the new A3 for its impressive space and equipment, highlighting its ability to strike a balance between ‘fuss-free family transport’ and a refined, accurate drive.
In his report for Car magazine, Keith Adams draws attention to the A3’s sharp new exterior look, as well as the typically-excellent Audi build quality.
Carbuyer herald the arrival of the fully digital dash, now standard across all models, and again highlight build quality as a facet that really sets the A3 apart from the competition.
Perhaps Audi hasn’t felt the need to ‘reinvent the wheel’ with the latest A3, but AutoExpress chalk that off purely as a good thing, saying that the “subtle exterior revisions” only serve to “accentuate the premium look of the stylish family hatchback”.
WhatCar? follows their usual consumer-oriented approach, and praise the A3 for its roominess, quiet interior, and comfort on the road, while Autocar really doubles down on that praise, highlighting the impressive driving dynamics, efficient engines, and “near-flawless ownership prospects”.
