Mercedes-Benz has revealed the EQV, an executive people carrier that swaps the conventional combustion power of the stylish V-Class for purely electric propulsion.
The seven seats from the V-Class remain, as does the space afforded to passengers and load area, neither of which are reduced by having batteries on board.
The EQV’s 90kWh battery provides a single-charge range of up to 213 miles [WLTP], and the 110kW rapid charging functionality allows an 80% in as little as 45 minutes.
Alternatively, the EQV can be charged overnight using an 11kW AC charger, and there’s even 1 year of Mercedes-me Charge and IONITY access included at no additional cost.
Power comes in at a very useful 204bhp, with torque maxing out at 364nm.
Three trim levels are available, with the range starting with the Sport model that includes full leather upholstery, electric sliding doors, and reversing camera.
Sport Premium adds 360-degree parking camera, an enhanced exterior design package, and interior table package, while Sport Premium Plus includes a Burmester surround sound system and AIRMATIC suspension.
Pricing for the new EQV start at £70,665 OTR.
