When a brand like that of Lotus says it has produced its fastest ever car, you need to take notice.
The new Evora
Sport 410 is 70kg lighter and 10hp more powerful than the existing Evora 400, resulting in a top speed of 186mph and a 0-60 time of 3.9 seconds - beating its predecessor by 0.3s.
With added high performance bodywork pieces, such as the new front splitter, roof panel and rear-end bodywork, the Evora 410 looks sportier and more aggressive, but also posts a 15 per cent improvement in aerodynamic efficiency with no increase in drag.
Following on from the racing nature of the exterior, the interior follows in a similar vein - but that doesn’t mean it isn’t comfortable inside. Carbon-fibre sport seats fitted with black or red Alcantara trim, aluminium pedals and aluminium gear knob for the models fitted with a manual gearbox.
There are additional options to make the interior more to your liking too, such as leather seats, full speaker system and an infotainment setup with satellite navigation and reversing camera - so you can either keep the Evora 410 as a focussed lightweight sports car or add a few creature comforts to make a great day-to-day car with devastating performance on tap.
Available with both automatic and manual transmission, the 410 offers great efficiency for a sports car with a combined fuel economy of 29.1mpg with either gearbox, thanks to its lightweight frame and well-engineered engine.
Starting from £79,900, the Lotus Evora Sport 410 will give the excitement of traditional Lotus sports cars, but with a modern edge to keep you wanting more and more.
