Last Wednesday, SEAT unveiled its first ever SUV – the SEAT Ateca. The Ateca is unique to the brand and boasts a distinctive and stylish design but with urban versatility.
The Ateca’s design both encapsulates the SEAT brand and SUV style with its large high trapezoidal grille, defined headlights, sharp creases and muscular stance; it maintains everything about the look and feel of the SEAT brand but with the solidarity and reliability of an SUV.
The SEAT Ateca is available in a range of options from the powerful turbocharged TSI petrol and TDI diesel engines, ranging from 115 PS to 190 PS with outstanding torque figures, and with a choice of either four-wheel or front-wheel drive.
Inside the Ateca the SUV combines elegance with the feeling of a solid and well put together vehicle, and in terms of best use of space, the 4.36m long SUV boasts a massive 510 litre boot in standard configuration, or 485 litres in all wheel drive models, meaning there is plenty of room for your luggage - and then more.
Further in-car features include innovative technology such as SEAT Drive Profile which adapts to the current driving conditions and situations on the road, along with any personal settings desired for your in-car driving experience. Other additional support includes Traffic Jam Assist, Emergency Assist, Front Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, Blind Spot Detection, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Top View Camera.
Plus you can stay connected with the outside world while driving, as the SEAT Ateca offers the latest digital enhancements such as wireless smartphone charger, and systems such as SEAT Full Link, MirrorLink and Media System Plus.
All in all the SEAT Ateca is a superb vehicle that combines impressive unique driving fun with the added bonuses that come with an SUV such as space, comfort and safety.
