In aid of the Alzheimer's society
, JCT600's chosen charity for 2015, Joe Robinson and James Kendall from Vauxhall Bradford took part in a sponsored Skydive. The event took place at Skydive GB in Bridlington on Friday 28th August; however, it didn’t all quite go as originally planned.
This was actually Joe and James’s second attempt at their Skydive, as just a month prior to this it was called off due to poor weather conditions on the day. There was further doubt on the day that the same thing would happen again, but eventually the sky cleared and they were able to do it.
Joe commented “When we arrived at 11am, we were unsure if it would be called off again due to heavy cloud, but as the day went on the sky cleared and we took off at around 6.30pm with the sun setting around us – it was a fantastic view!”
They raised just short of £1,000 for the Alzheimer’s society – well done boys!
And they are even planning another one for this year, so watch this space…
