The Jaguar E-Pace
now utilises artificial intelligence to make it smarter and better suited to the owner.
The Smart Settings system learns the driver’s habits and tastes to predict what the driver will want in terms of climate control, seat settings and music preferences.
Before the driver even gets in the car, the system recognises them approaching by either the car’s key fob or a connected Bluetooth device, and the vehicle will then adjust the seat, air conditioning and infotainment system to the driver’s needs.
The car will also adapt the vehicle’s settings depending on the time, weather and locations, as well as behavioural patterns, with up to eight devices able to be paired to the vehicle and sort the settings for each user.
Offered as part of the Connect Pro Pack, that means models also come with a 4G W-Fi Hotspot, Pro Services and Navigation Pro – which adds real-time traffic information, automatic door-to-door routing and park availability.
Jaguar can also fit the E-Pace with adaptive dynamics, which adds variable damping technology for improved ride customisation and control – all of which can be controlled through the Jaguar Drive Control system.
The system tracks the vehicle’s movements every two milliseconds and calculates the required damping every 10 milliseconds to ensure the car is set up perfectly for the road ahead.
Available with a range of both petrol and diesel Ingenium engines, the E-Pace starts from £28,500. For more information on the latest Jaguar information, contact your nearest JCT600 Jaguar Doncaster today
