has unveiled the Flying Spur V8 S Black Edition – a model that offers a more dynamic aesthetic and one that suits the savage nature of the V8 S.
With black gloss detailing, dark tints to the lights and black 21-inch ‘Elegant’ alloy wheels, the Black Edition looks more imposing than the standard Flying Spur. The darker detailing continues inside, with Piano Black veneer adorning most of the interior’s façade. Black or red brake calipers can be chosen to add to the sporting dynamic of the Black Edition.
The interior trim is also mainly black, with the leather seats getting accent colour panels. That accent colour is also used throughout the rest of the cabin, but if customers want to have a different interior spec they can do so. Customers get a sport three-spoke steering wheel as standard.
The 4.0-litre V8 engine has been tuned to offer more power than the standard V8 S, with it now producing 521bhp – this helps the Flying Spur get from 0-60mph in 4.6 seconds and onto a top speed of 190mph. The power goes through a four-wheel-drive system with the output split 40:60 in favour of the rear for a more composed drive in all weather conditions.
Customers can also choose to fit the Mulliner Driving Specification, which adds diamond-quilted leather to the seats and door panels with contrasting stitching and two choices of 21-inch five-spoke alloys.
