First announced to the public in September 2018 the third Aston Martin hypercar was codenamed ‘003’ following the Valkyrie and Valkyrie AMR Pro, formerly known as ‘002’ and ‘001’ and has now been changed to AM-RB 003 aka the 'Son of Valkyrie'.
Hitting 0-62pm in 2.5 seconds this next step into the mid-engined hypercar market will see AM-RB 003 hold class leading dynamics both on road and track, as its hypercar precursors did.
Powered by a turbocharged petrol-electric hybrid turbo, the V6 engine is paired with an 8-speed F1 inspired dual clutch transmission, holding hypercar DNA firmly in it's concepts and technology.
With a lightweight structure weighing in at less than 1350kg, made up of full carbon fibre monocoque and panels, helps it reach a maximum speed of 220mph. Brought together with active aerodynamics for impressive levels of downforce in a road-legal car, active suspension systems resulting in next-level control, driver connection and precision.
Without losing focus on performance, AM-RB 003 takes practicality into consideration in the design and engineering, offering space for luggage.
Available in both left and right-hand drive, global production will be limited to 500 coupes.
The ‘AM-RB 003 will be on sale in late 2021.
