The Tordoff Collection – McLaren MP4-12C

The Tordoff Collection recently presented a McLaren MP4-12C. Always a popular choice for supercar fanatics, the 12C was the first car designed and built by McLaren since the legendary F1.

The McLaren MP4-12C has now been sold, however, we are always updating our stock at The Tordoff Collection, take a look, here.

A pure McLaren, with innovative design and Formula 1-sourced technologies, such as ‘brake-steer’, it certainly fulfils Ron Dennis’ mission to rival the Ferrari 458 Italia. The 12C has a carbon fibre composite chassis, which weighs only 40kg more than its coupe counterpart, double wishbones and coil springs, giving it 25% more grip than conventionally suspended rivals. This model will drive 0-62mph in 3.3 seconds and is powered by a 3.8 twin turbo power unit, developing 617bhp. With a top recorded speed of 204 mph, the 12C is one of the most versatile and potent supercars on the road.

Including lightweight alloy wheels, finished in gloss black and silver and a full carbon black leather interior. Volcano red paint, a stealth badge set and a sports exhaust make it a superb example of its type. To stand out further in its class, it also included a Meridian surround system, electric and heated memory seats, branded floor mats, a lithium-ion battery charger and parking sensors to the front and rear.

There was not a moment of hesitation about the McLaren 12C joining our collection. Our passion for cars with racing heritage means that it was a welcome guest.
