The Tordoff Collection – 2017 Honda NSX 3.5

The Tordoff Collection recently showcased the Honda NSX 3.5. Built in collaboration with an F1 legend, it is a supercar packed with racing technology.

The Honda NSX 3.5 has now been sold, however, we are always updating our stock at The Tordoff Collection, take a look, here.

The Honda NSX 3.5 predecessor – the New Sportscar eXperimental – was conceived in the mid-1980’s. Inspired by the F-16 fighter jet and built to outmatch the Ferrari, this first generation NXS had the great honour of final stage input from the late Ayrton Senna. Combining exotic materials and expertise, the Japanese supercar was like nothing else on sale. When Gordon Murray was building the McLaren F1, he said that the NSX was going to be a hard act to follow and in the motor industry, we tended to agree. Until now …

The second generation New Sports eXperience has been produced by Honda’s US team, with support from Japanese engineers involved in the original model. The contemporary American twist on this 20th century classic results in a fast yet affordable supercar. As a hybrid, it has 3 electric motors and uses a newly developed twin turbo 3.5 litre engine, giving 581bhp, 476 torque and an astonishing maximum speed of 191mph.

The NSX was presented in white, with stunning red and black interior as well as body coloured mirrors and bumpers. There were some really special features such as the automatic coming/going home lighting function, a one touch up/down driver’s window and LED daytime running lights, headlights and indicators. Telescopic adjusting steering wheel and glove box lights also added a playful touch to this powerful supercar.
