The latest generation Picanto is praised by Car Buyer for being “cheap to fuel and keep on the road,” with Kia finishing in third place out of 27 manufacturers surveyed by Car Buyer. It’s no wonder the Picanto came in at number 13 in the Reliability Index Top 100 UK Cars; Kia’s impressive warranty lasts for up to 100,000 miles or seven years, and carries over if you’re buying a used model.

BMW’s 1 Series was first launched in 2004, and remains a popular choice with motorists looking for a high-quality, reliable car available on the used market at an affordable price. The Mk2 version scored 89% in the UK’s leading car satisfaction survey last year; this is supported by What Car’s latest reliability survey in which there were just 16 faults per 100 vehicles, seeing the 1 Series finish third in its class.
