New Volkswagen Beetle Cabriolet– from £20,380

New Mazda MX5 RF – from £23,395

Unlike the MX-5, the all-new MX-5 RF features a retractable hardtop roof which has been beautifully crafted with the KODO: Soul of Motion design theme. Best Convertibles 2017: £26k – £55k
New Vauxhall Cascada – from £26,815

Elegantly designed with a premium finish, the Cascada is packed with the latest safety and infotainment features, for an exceptionally comfortable drive. Auto Car points out ‘If you can drive one of these spacious, comfortable, quietly handsome cruiser convertibles and still judge it inferior to similarly priced drop-tops such as the BMW 2 Series Convertible, ask yourself why. Chances are you’ve fallen prone to a touch of badge snobbery.’
New BMW 2 Series – from £27,060
Features: BMW ConnectedDrive Services, Heated exterior mirrors, Rear Park Distance Control
With its sharp and assertive looks, the 2 Series is certainly a head-turner. Available in three trim levels, with seven different engine variants to choose from, you will be spoilt for choice. The sporty, agile and impressive BMW 4 Series Convertible has been kitted out with stylish equipment and boasts the very latest technology, so you will have everything you could possibly need and more, right at your fingertips. Features: Heated Front Seats, Deluxe Auto Air Conditioning, All-weather LED headlights, Front and Rear Parking Sensors
The soft-top version of Audi’s smallest coupe, the TT Roadster comfortably seats two passengers and is fitted with a fabric rather than a metal hood, making it lighter and much more agile to drive. Excelling in the performance stakes doesn’t mean that it has to compromise on the comfort levels either, and easily accommodates up to four people. Car Advice handily points out ‘the front seats also come with a neck heater’ so you’ll even stay warm on those slightly chillier days too.
