Charity
JCT600 will be raising money for Ben throughout 2020.
Ben is a charity dedicated to supporting the people of the automotive industry, and their dependants.
The charity works to support those facing a crisis or helps them to prevent a crisis, and to manage their health and wellbeing. All their support is unique and tailored, so they are able to provide the best possible support options for each individual. Ben also operates care and support for those later in life, which is not dependent on an automotive industry connection.
Throughout 2020, JCT600 colleagues company-wide will be supporting and fundraising for Ben with a range of organised events and personal challenges.
To name a few of these - Chris Nicholl and James Tordoff set off on their Atlantic row mid-December 2019 (Ben being one of their three chosen charities), and are hoping to finish their journey at the end of February 2020. In January, dealerships across the JCT600 Group will also be getting involved with a static rowing competition to raise vital funds. Emma Cummins is currently in training for the London Marathon taking place in April and in October, our very own John and Joe Tordoff will be climbing Kilimanjaro!
Last year’s achievements
In 2019, for our fourth and final year, the JCT600 Group were a patron for The Prince's Trust.
Throughout the year, staff at Head Office and across our 50+ dealerships took part in a variety of fund-raising events for the charity. We're still awaiting the grand total raised over the four years.
Events varied from bake sales, charity runs, Christmas jumper days and so on!
Well done everyone!
