Aston Martin DB11 wins Car Design Award 2016

The newest Aston Martin, the DB11, has won the ‘Production Car of the Year’ in the esteemed Car Design Awards, held at the Salone dell’ Auto in Turin, Italy.

The first model in the company’s ‘Second Century’ plan, the DB11 carries through design continuities from the rest of the Aston Martin range, such as the iconic grille and beautiful design base of a long bonnet and flowing body lines.

As a new model however, it must look unique next to the rest of its stablemates, and this one certainly does. With an altered bonnet shape for better aerodynamics, this lower slung grand tourer is also very muscular, with accented wheel arches and sills to create a beautiful shape, whilst the tail end has a fantastically smooth sloping finish.
Despite the small alteration, it is a quintessential Aston Martin and as with most other models, is an absolute beauty.

Inside it has been updated to take the company into its second century in style, with the modern interior helping to make this Aston Martin feel otherworldly. With the fantastic detailing on the seats, sleek dashboard and simple yet effective instrument cluster, the DB11 is a fantastic place to be.

To top it off, the DB11 is fitted with 600hp 5.2-litre twin turbo V12, catapulting this dreamboat from 0-62 in 3.9 seconds and on to a top speed of 200mph. The performance is more than a match for the design, so you can see why the DB11 is going to be one of the cars of the year.

Available to order from our Leeds dealership, the DB11 is a stylish and top class machine. Contact our Leeds dealership on 0113 292 6361 to find out more details on this fantastic new model.
