He matched the deal I found elsewhere and even drove to my house to fill in the finance docs, as I was unable to get to Sheffield and finally he picked me up from the station to take me to my new car. After 13 years of buying Minis (6) it was quite a wrench to move away. However, Billy Thompson and the rest of the staff at VW York made it a very pleasant experience. Billy is relatively new in his job, but that didn't seem to phase him. He'd clarify issues or questions he was unsure about and at no point was there any pressure to buy before we'd actually made up our minds. During the buying process itself, he was in regular contact to keep us abreast of progress. He even made us laugh with a short video showing the new car being delivered on the car transporter!! Taking delivery- with the big reveal - was also made that bit more special with a lovely bouquet of flowers. Visited Audi Boston to find out what car my daughter could have under the mobility scheme. Jane was very supportive and professional and made my daughter comfortable and didn't overwhelm her with questions. (That was left for me). It was a shame there was a back log for the new Reg car but I was informed where in the queue we were and we received our red car in time for my daughters birthday. There was just a minor bit with the paper work where I was not a nominee only named driver for insurance purposes.. after a few phone calls and historical information it was sorted.

Drop my car of for a service as usual in the morning and arranged to pick up late afternoon. I then received a video regarding the health of my car which I thought was a brilliant idea. I then received a call saying that my car was ready for collection, when I arrived at the garage I was met by a lady who offered me a drink while she sorted a member of staff to go through my paper work and keys. The only thing missing was the red carpet, no one could do enough for you, the car had been cleaned inside and out and I rate my experience 10/10. Thank you very much again.
