The Mercedes-Benz C-Class is a dynamic and stylish saloon that has been designed to be more rewarding to the driver. Mercedes-Benz has fitted numerous high-end technological features as standard, putting the C-Class constantly ahead of the curve in the field of developmental technology. Agility Select allows the driver to choose the individual driving mode best suited to them, and gives a choice of driving modes (Comfort, ECO, Sport, Sport+ and Individual) for your convenience.
Mercedes-Benz has crafted a stylish exterior for the C-Class, making sure that it catches the eye fromevery angle. The headlights are powered with halogen, and accompanied by integral LED daytime running lights. Selected models possess features such as the "Easy-Pack" automatic powered tailgate and tasteful black roof rails.
This sense of style is replicated on the inside of the car. Within the cabin, Black Artico leather forms the upholstery while high-gloss Black trim contributes to the sophisticated atmosphere. Multimedia functions are provided through the Audio 20 CD with high-resolution 7" colour display and the DAB digital radio tuner.
Bluetooth capability is also included, allowing for safe hands-free phone use, and the integrated Media Interface allows for further audio customisation. The multifunctional steering wheel is three-spoke and trimmed in leather, providing control to all of the interior systems from one simple location.
Drivers can choose between three diesel engines, a diesel hybrid, and a petrol engine to power the C-Class. Six and seven-speed manual and automatic transmissions offer a smooth and measured response on all road types. The engine that provides the best speed and acceleration is the BlueTEC hybrid, which can achieve 152mph and 0-62mpg acceleration in 6.4 seconds. In the case of the C200 BlueTEC diesel, meanwhile, combined fuel consumption is as low as 72.4mpg and CO2 emissions are as low as 102g/km.
Installed safety systems include Collision Prevention Assist Plus, and the Anti-lock braking system (ABS). Attention Assist provides audio and visual alerts to help prevent driver fatigue, and the Active Bonnet is a pedestrian safety measure which raises the bonnet if an impact is detected. Dual-stage airbags are fitted throughout the cabin, and ISOFIX child seat attachment points allow for easy child seat installation.
