The new Bentley Continental GT was unveiled as the perfect fusion between old and new. It boasts the classic style and elegance of the traditional Bentley, while offering scintillating pace and astonishing luxury thanks to modern technology and a phenomenal engine.
From the outside the car looks charmingly stylish, but it also shows the sporty touches you’d expect from a Grand Tourer. The long wheelbase and forward-leaning stance gives the car an aggressive posture, while 20-inch alloy wheels and a bright front radiator matrix provide a cool, metallic edge.
Inside, you can choose from 17 hide colours to complement the Burr Walnut veneer. But the car’s luxury isn’t just skin deep – it also contains the latest technology, such as Bentley’s unique infotainment system, which uses touch-screen technology to let you control features like the navigation system, tyre pressure monitor and 15GB entertainment system.
To utilise the full force of the 6.0-litre W12 engine, the car is supported by a cutting-edge all-wheel drive system. This allows you to enjoy the power of its 570bhp in full, with acceleration from 0-60mph in an astonishing 4.3 seconds. Keep your foot down and you’ll soon reach the top speed of 197mph. Though Grand Tourers are known for their pace, the Bentley Continental is also surprisingly efficient, achieving 19.5mpg on the combined cycle.
To keep you safe, the new Bentley Continental GT attends to the details, like offering state-of-the-art iron brakes and bi-Xenon headlights with an LED main-beam support function. You can also add the optional adaptive cruise control system, which helps to regulate your speed when you’re driving along long stretches of road.
