MINI Award is Major Accolade for JCT600 Sales Manager

MINI has awarded its national ‘Rookie of the Year’ accolade to Simon Stolting, for his role as MINI sales manager at JCT600 in Bradford.

In their inaugural year, the awards, proved popular with MINI dealerships throughout the UK. The Rookie award was open to new MINI sales managers nationwide and recognises exceptional sales achievements.

Simon was chosen because of his contribution to the success of the JCT600 Sticker Lane MINI dealership where he has been sales manager since April last year. It had an impressive year with retail sales 197 per cent ahead of target in the last quarter of 2010, making it one of the top performing dealerships in the country.

Simon, 34, of Bradford joined JCT600 in 2007 in a sales role at its BMW dealership in the town. He was then promoted to business manager of Chevrolet Bradford before moving to Mercedes-Benz of Sheffield. He has now returned to BMW Bradford as sales manager.

The winners were presented with their awards during a national MINI conference and awards ceremony at the MINI headquarters in Oxford, attended by the 148 dealerships throughout the country.

The Rookie category saw some fierce competition and it’s encouraging to see so much young talent coming through the industry.”
